The recipients of this $1,000 scholarship must demonstrate outstanding resolve in the areas of leadership, scholarship, service, and work ethic. This scholarship is open to any SENIOR baseball player that is planning on attending college. Although having a parent that is an MHSBCA member is preferred, it is not required. The scholarships will be awarded annually, to as many as five recipients, as determined by the scholarship committee. Although all criteria must be met by each applicant, financial need will receive considerable deliberation. The scholarship will be a one-time, non-renewable award that will be deposited into the account of the student at their respective college of attendance. The scholarship will not be awarded until the student completes one full semester, is enrolled in the following semester (with at least 12 credit hours), and is in good academic standing.
