2008 MHSBCA POLLS REGIONAL POLL REPRESENTATIVES FOR SOME REGIONS NEEDED. Check the poll representative list for unfilled regions and contact John Donley at jdonley@remc11.k12.mi.us if you would like to serve as a region poll representative. INFORMATION & PROCEDURES The 2008 polls process will begin soon. Coaches must understand that the district and the regional chairmen for the All-State process may be different than the representatives for the polls. The list of polls representatives and their email contact information is listed below. PRE-SEASON POLL Each individual coach should contact his regional representative before March 16 to discuss his team's status or recommend another team before the 2008 season begins. The regional representatives will then list the top three teams in his region. That information will then be sent to the division chairman. The division chairman will then rank the top 10 teams in his division. Once that is done, each of the four division chairmen will send the top 10 results to the polls chairman. The final step will be taken to circulate each of the four division's top 10 teams to various sites. The pre-season poll will be posted March 19 REGULAR SEASON POLLS Each individual coach is responsible for contacting his regional representative if he feels his team or another team in his area is deserving of ranking. You should email your regional representative by Sunday of each week. You should briefly give your rational for the ranking and the team’s record.
Please follow the steps to create a fair polls process for each division. The polls will then be posted every Wednesday of the baseball season beginning April 16. For any questions, coaches can email John Donley, polls chairman, at jdonley@remc11.k12.mi.us.
